We are grateful to the National Archives of Canada for providing copies of the original lists. N.A.C. Reference M.G. 19 F 35 Series 1, Lot 727.

The following listing of militia officers and enlisted men is a transcription of the original Colonel James Gray's Company of Militia of the Battalion of Cornwall & Osneburg, District of Lunenburg.

The original is on file at the National Archives of Canada. N.A.C Reference: M.G. 19 F 35 Series 1, Lot 727, Entries 1 - 73. This Muster Roll only recently came into the custody of the NAC and is scheduled to be microfilmed sometime in the late spring or summer of 1998. Reference photo-copies have been taken and are on file at the NAC.

The hand writing was very difficult to transcribe so there is potential for transcription errors. Always check the original document to confirm transcribed materials.
