This book is a transcription of a Church of England Parish Register for North Clarendon & Thorne, Pontiac County, Quebec, Canada. Though the label on microfilm number M-3114 where these records were extracted from indicates a date range of 1864-1916, most rites are dated between 1873-1916. There are mentions of eighteen birth dates between 1866 and 1872 for persons who were baptized after 1872, plus one baptism in 1872. The vast majority of baptisms, marriages and burials are dated 1873 to 1916

The same transcribers also published a different book that transcribes an earlier register that covers the years 1864 to 1873

Contents of this book include:
  • Foreword - Church of England Parish Register of North Clarendon & Thorne, Pontiac County, Quebec 1864-1916
    • Introductory remarks, sources
    • Surnames (how variations are handled in this book)
    • Abbreviations (as used in this book)
  • Transcriptions of Baptisms, Marriages and Burials organized alphabetically by surname, then by given name
  • NOTE: There was no need for an Index to be included in this book because the content is organized alphabetically
The transcriptions recorded in this book were extracted from the images of the pages of the original register that resides on microfilm reel number M-3114 held at the Library and Archives Canada, Ottawa.
