This book includes includes complete information transcribed from the memorial stones located in two cemeteries in Renfrew County, Ontario. The information was compiled during between 1992-1996. This book is a facsimilie reprint of the 1996 edition. It does not include any new information about burials since that time.

IV, Lot 3, Matawatchan Township, Renfrew County, Ontario This cemetery is known as the Community cemetery as it is shared with St. Andrew's United Church in Matawatchan and with the Griffith Pentecostal Church. It is over 150 years old and the St. Andrew's Church is 108 years of age. st. Andrew's was previously formed as a Methodist church Our Lady of The Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Cemetery Conc. III, Lot 9, Griffith Township, Renfrew County, Ontario The present church at the village of Griffith fIrst came into being after 1887. Previous to that, mass was said in the homes in the area although there was a chapel built earlier around 1861, which fell into disuse. The cemetery is adjacent to the church on the north side.
