This book includes transcriptions of memorial stones and related information from two Morewood cemeteries in Winchester Township, Dundas County, Ontario. The memorial stone transcriptions were recorded during the summer of 1982 and originally published in 1984. The transcriptions are of grave stones that were erected prior to 1983. That early date has value insofar as this book provides information that may be missing from stones today due to 40+ additional years of weathering or vandalism.
The earliest birth date recorded on memorial stones is 1793. Oldest age recorded is 100. Burial dates begin in 1871. Also highlights those killed in action and Masonic.
Contents include:
- Morewood Presbyterian Cemetery, Conc XI. Lot 21
- Morewood United Cemetery, Conc XI. Lot 21
