This thick book is a careful transcription of the parish registers of Our Lady of Angels Roman Catholic Parish, Moose Creek, Ontario. Entries begin in 1882 and continue until 1925. The content is organized alphabetically by surname. There is also an index to help researchers find others who are mentioned in the transcriptions, such as witnesses, named relatives etc. The book was originally published in 2005 in cardstock covers and Cerlox bound. This edition is in hardcover. We are very pleased to be able to put this valuable work into circulation in its new format. Insofar as the book was prepared prior to our purchase of MacDonald Research, and that the compiler has passed away, and that no notes survive to tell us what the differences are between the first and second editions, we are unable to describe those differences other than to assume that this edition may address errors and omissions in the first edition. Contents include:
8.5 X 11" Hardcover First edition was published by MacDonald Research Centre, Brockville, 2005 This edition published by MacDonald Research*, Milton, 2010 (CD 2012) *MacDonald Research is an imprint of GlobalGenealogy.com Inc. ISBN 9781926797403 (Hardcover) NOTE about print quality: GlobalGenealogy.com acquired MacDonald Research Centre after the passing of its founder and primary transcriber/compiler, Duncan MacDonald. We are pleased to make his books available under the new MacDonald Research imprint. Each book has been reprinted as it was prepared by Mr. MacDonald, without corrections or additions. Modern technology helped us reproduce the original work in as-good-as, or better quality as that which was originally published. Much of MacDonald's original work was created on a typewriter. His well-worn "masters" were made on a photocopier. We've cleaned them up as much as possible without re-keying all of the content resulting in books that are useful and complete, but of a print quality that reflects the technology of the time in which they were orignally published.
