This thick book contains careful transcriptions of the complete parish registers of baptism, marriage and burial recorded at St. Catherine of Sienna Roman Catholic Parish in Greenfield, Ontario. Greenfield is in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell in Eastern Ontario. Entries begin in 1894 and continue until 2000. The content is organized alphabetically by surname. There is a comprehensive index to help researchers find that elusive ancestor. The First Edition was released in 2001. This Second Edition was prepared by Duncan MacDonald shortly prior to his passing in late 2006. Mr. MacDonald left no explanation of the differences between the first and second edition. We assume that this edition may address errors and omissions in the first edition. We are very pleased to be able to put this valuable work into circulation in its new format. Contents include:
8.5 X 11" Hardcover ISBN 9781926797397 (hardcover edition is temporarily out of print) NOTE about print quality: GlobalGenealogy.com acquired MacDonald Research Centre after the passing of its founder and primary transcriber/compiler, Duncan MacDonald. We are pleased to make his books available under the new MacDonald Research imprint. Each book has been reprinted as it was prepared by Mr. MacDonald, without corrections or additions. Modern technology helped us reproduce the original work in as-good-as, or better quality as that which was originally published. Much of MacDonald's original work was created on a typewriter. His well-worn "masters" were made on a photocopier. We've cleaned them up as much as possible without re-keying all of the content resulting in books that are useful and complete, but of a print quality that reflects the technology of the time in which they were orignally published.
