By: Rick Roberts, Biography & Archived Articles
University of Toronto, School of Continuing Studies have a new and interesting non-credit course coming up very soon. The course coaches would-be sleuths how to uncover the history of specific properties in Toronto. I suspect that the lessons learned will also assist students to use similar methods to research buildings in other places.
We are often asked how to go about doing such a search. Here's are the details about a course that promises to get you started:
- 21 Oct - 25 Nov 2008: 6 sessions, Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Your City, Your House, Your Family

We work our way through a variety of research projects, representative of the expressed interests of participants. In support of these practical case studies we review, in an integrated way, remarkable resources which we can draw upon, including some little-known ones.
