There is some overflow into neighboring counties and adjacent areas of Quebec and USA. Mr. MacDonald's considerable efforts effort resulted in eighty nine published books. At the beginning of this month, Global Genealogy's publishing arm Global Heritage Press Inc., completed an agreement with Mr. MacDonald's heirs, to acquire all publishing rights. We also assumed a considerable inventory of unsold new books that remain. Initially we will make the MacDonald Research Centre's existing stock available to buyers. Once a title has been sold out, it will be reprinted under the Global Heritage Press imprint. We are delighted to be able to ensure that these important works remain available to researchers who are interested in the families of eastern Ontario.  The United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry lie in the extreme eastern part of Ontario, bordering on the USA to the south, and to Quebec to the east.
