The Reverend Ernest M. Taylor created two volumes of history of Brome County and family sketches of the people who called Brome their home. The first volume was published in 1908. The author had intended to have the second volume ready soon after, "however, various matters occassioned the delay", not the least being the challenge of accumulating the histories of families who settled in teh county pior to 1850.
