BOOK - Century of Farewells, A Biographical Dictionary of Prince Edward Island Immigrants, 1800-1900 - 2 Vol Set
By J. Clinton Morrison
Every family history researcher with ties to Prince Edward Island will want to have a copy of this set of books.
The author, an award winning history and genealogy writer, has compiled an alphabetically organized (by surname) collection of information about immigrants to Prince Edward Island between 1800 and 1900. Volume One begins with a section that sets the historical context for the researcher. The author includes several old maps to illustrate the locations of specific individuals.
- Volume One - "Abbot" to "MacGregor" (plus historical introduction)
- Volume Two - "Machon" to "Zoe"
About the author:
