This edition was carefully reproduced from an original, with much effort expended to correct discoloration and damage from 100 years of use. The book was printed on acid free paper and sewn prior to the covers being added... resulting in a perfect-bound book that is both attractive and durable.
This edition of Toronto Illustrated 1893 was published in 1992 by the Toronto Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Town of York. We have acquired the remaining new/uncirculated copies of the book that were printed in 1992. Once these last copies are sold, the book will be out of print.
