The County of Simcoe (map) had 23 enumeration districts (including Muskoka & Morrison Townships for this census) during the 1861 Census. This book contains the transcriptions for Innisfil Township.

The enumeration districts were transcribed separately and each book in this series containes an index as well as a transcript of the pages of the census as they appreared on the microfilm for the individual townships within Simcoe County.

Every name that was recorded in the 1861 census is included in the township book where the individuals were resident.
