This thick book contains careful transcriptions of the complete parish registers of St. Catherine of Sienna Roman Catholic Parish, Greenfield, Ontario. Entries begin in 1894 and continue until 2000. The content is organized alphabetically by surname. There is also an index to help researchers find others who are mentioned in the transcriptions, such as witnesses, named relatives etc.
The book was originally published in its First Edition in 2001. This Second Edition was prepared by Duncan MacDonald shortly prior to Mr. MacDonald's passing.
We are very pleased to be able to put this valuable work into circulation in its new format. Insofar as the book was prepared prior to our purchase of MacDonald Research, and that Mr. MacDonald has passed away, and that no notes survive to tell us what the differences are between the first and second editions, we are unable to describe those differences other than to assume that this edition may address errors and omissions in the first edition.
Contents include:
- Introduction
- Births [Baptisms] (organized alphabetically by surname)
- Burials (organized alphabetically by surname)
- Marriages (organized alphabetically by surname)
- Index
