BOOK - 1861 Census, Fredericksburg Township, Lennox & Addington County (Ontario, Canada)

The 1851 Census microfilm for Fredericksburg Township in Lennox and Addington County includes no Agricultural section. It is thus impossible to specify precisely where the landowners were settled.

This transcription of the 1861 Census, which does include the Agricultural section, is intended partly to provide that missing information, but also to make it easier for the publication of Loyalist Links for Lennox and Addington.

It was necessary also to consult the 1871 census, the 1860 Walling map, the 1878 Meacham map and the Ontario Archives Land Registry Abstract.

This contains an alphabetical listing which includes references to age, sex, religion, occupation, property and sources.
