The North Channel Cemetery also known as old Buying Ground or the Centre Commons and sometimes referred to as the Adams Cemetery, is located on Lot 18, Concession 1, Edwardsburgh Township, Grenville County, Ontario, Canada. It is unknown when the cemetery began, however there is a record of a burial in 1796 and the earliest surviving memorial stone is dated 1801A very nicely compiled book that provides background history of settlement and burial practices in early Ontario, especially in the communities surrounding this early pioneer cemetery.
