BOOK - Way Back in Hastings County (Ontario, Canada)

This book is intended as a record of those families who settled in Hastings Co. between 1860 and 1900s. Specifically, the townships included are Madoc, Elzevir, Tudor and Marmora.
The Families are those who remained in the area for at least one generation. Sources for the information are the Census from 1851 and 1861, private family information and transcriptions of Linda Corupe’s Napanee Beaver Newspaper.
Families are arranged alphabetically in each township. It could also include birthplace, date of birth, occupation and property information where indicated. Could also include maiden name of wife.
