By: T.A. Hutchinson. This article is based on a talk given by Mr. Hutchinson about 35 years ago. It is published by the Milton Historical Society, with the permission of his family, as a reminder of a long-gone era and the personalities that were part of a Halton County Town. This is a brief sketch of the Main Street in Milton during the early twenties. Mr. Hutchinson has endeavoured to give descriptions of conditions as they appeared to him when he came to town. All the conversations mentioned are true. As the author wore this there were only six living persons, including himself who were in business on the main street when he arrived in 1920. He doubts if there has been a more friendly town in Ontario. Booklet, 32pgs.
