Peter Lymburner Robertson, a prolific inventor from Haldimand County, gave his name to the woodscrew so familiar to millions of Canadians. Today - 90 years after it's introduction - the "Robertson" is winning new international markets.

As an employer he dominated the Town of Milton for most of the 20th century. Everyone knew him as P.L. In 1932 he wrote "The Remedy", his solution to the world depression, and personally mailed it to hundreds of world leaders.

Almost 50 years after his death his generous and colorful personality retains a special place in the hearts of countless Miltonians.
