About the author:
    Ruth M. Burkholder's twenty-five years of professional research experience is evident in the complete and concise way in which she introduces and explains records and best-practices in her newest edition of Ontario Genealogy for Beginners; Starting Out in Genealogy. Ruth has also compiled several books of indexes to census and baptisms for parts of York County, Ontario, and co-authored Ontario Land Registry Office Records, A Guide with Fawne-Stratford-Devai. She lectures on all aspects of Ontario genealogy including land and vital records. Ruth possesses expert/hands-on knowledge of national, provincial and municipal repositories, various church archives, libraries, courts, and land registry offices.
