This book is intended as a record of those families who settled in the Northern Townships of Frontenac Co. between 1860 and 1900s Specifically, the townships included are Bedford, Olden, Oso, Barrie, Clarendon, Miller, Palmerston and Canonto south. The Families included are those who remained within the area for at least one generation although some are shown to have moved to another location in the county. Since the primary source of information is the census, there may be unintentional errors and exclusions, names may be misspelled, birthdates should be considered approximate and caution should be used in assuming that all personas living in a household are automatically the sons and daughters of the householder. Families are arranged alphabetically in each township.
