BOOK - 1851 Census, Kingston Township.
By Russ Waller, U.E.
Anyone searching for ancestors in Kingston Township Census for 1851-52 quickly learns that the census recording of the whole of Con. I, has been lost. However, the whole of the Agricultural Census appears to be complete.
This transcription also includes over 130 maiden names, some 15 names of recently deceased spouses, a full index and an attempt to arrange the family entries in the order of the concession and lot on which they resided.
Families are recorded in geographical order from West to East and from South to North. It is hoped that this method of recording used in conjunction with the 1878 Map of the Township, will assist searched in connecting and relating to many of the families.
Contains references to Birth, Marriages or Deaths, Religion, (where noted) Birthplace (where noted) Townships, and Sources.
