This book contains ALL the known families, whether connected or not., who were on the island up to and including 1901. Sources for the information include the Census from 1851 to 1901, cemeteries on Howe Island and in Gananoque, Vital Statistics from the Ontario Archives and private family information.
The book is organized alphabetically and contains references to Birth, Marriages or Deaths, Religion, (where noted) Birthplace (where noted) Townships, and Sources.
