By Susan Campbell, Trisha Stewart and Shelly Timmins with contributions
from Robert Brydges and Hugh Duncan and Major J.F. Leys.
Edited by Professor A.C. Robertson.

Softcover... 14.95 (C$)

Ramsay Reflections 1836-1979 is a local history of Ramsay Township in Lanark County, Ontario. The authors interviewed many older residents (1979) of the township and these stories have been used as the basis for much of the content. According to the Introduction, "Some of the examples were used in the book, with the hope that you the reader will visualize and reflect the romantic and courageous lives that our ancestors portrayed". Also of note is that all of the interviews were recorded and have been preserved for future use.

The book was published in 1979 under the sponsorship of the Ramsay Township Council. Considered to be long out of print, a forgotten stash of the original inventory of books has been discovered in a local museum. These are new uncirculated copies. When this suppy is exhausted, Ramsay Reflections 1836-1979 will be no longer available.
