BOOK - The Ketcheson Family
By The Ketcheson Family Book Committee
Published by the Ketcheson Family Book Committee, Belleville, 2000
 Hardcover Edition
|
The Ketcheson Family history is a genealogical study of twelve generations of the descendants of William and Sally Ayr Ketcheson. Thier son William Ketcheson, born in Yorkshire, England, was destined to become the progenitor of the widespread family largely responsible for a considerable share of the development of what later became the Province of Ontario in the Dominion of Canada.
This 10 year research project was undertaken by Jim Ketcheson of Belleville, Ontario and the Ketcheson Family Book Committee. Their work resulted in a tome of 1181 pages, crammed with information for 10,976 direct descendants. Of great value is the index of 25,000 names (direct descendants, spouses & collateal lines) with multiple page references for most.
The format is a descendant style "register report" providing vital statistics, family relationshsips, locations and individual notes. Also included are appendix items that add greatly to the information that the reader can discover about the Ketcheson line.
The Ketcheson Family book is printed on acid free paper, and case bound with premium grade covering and lettered in gold... a family heirloom that will be cherished by generations to come.
