7th Town Ameliasburgh BOOK - 7th Town Ameliasburgh Township Past & Present
by: Seventh Town Historical Society.
From Global Heritage Press

7th Town/Ameliasburgh, Past & Present was originally compiled in nineteen eighty-four by a group of dedicated members of the Seventh Town Historical Society. The self-published volume contains a storehouse of information on Ameliasburgh Township, from its earliest times until the present (1984). The first edition sold out quickly. Those who are interested in the community and families recognize the value of the book as a historical record and genealogists prize the detailed information about their ancestors and extended families.

This revised edition contains a facsimile reprint of every page of the original book plus new material. Of great value is a new and extensive index to the original book. The index is a windfall for family historians because it guides readers to over six thousand names linked to many thousands of valuable references.

Also new to this edition is additional information on The Carrying Place United Church, a contemporary sketch of Cheif Rohuaro and an important new Corrections to 1984 Edition section.

754pp. plus Index, Hard Cover Only, 6" x 9", 1999, ISBN 1-894378-30-X, CIP incl.
