Queries
The query pages on this site were devised and lovingly indexed by our former webmaster Charles Dobie. This section contains the surname queries of 143 LCGS members with a total of 1748 indexed surnames. See also the FastFinder page.
The surname lists contain two types of query based on location -- Lanark County / Eastern Ontario and everywhere else.
For example:
SURNAME The black text descriptions contain information or queries related to Lanark County and/or Eastern Ontario.
SURNAME The green text descriptions contain information or queries related to anywhere else in the world not covered by the black text descriptions.
Important! -- before replying to a postal address, please read the section on answering queries by postal mail.
If you try to contact someone using the e-mail address in their surname query and your message is returned, please let me know!
