The Lanark County Genealogical Society encourages and assists those interested in family history in the local geographical area of Lanark County, Ontario Canada.

LCGS is an independent Society and includes patrons living in the local area, throughout North America, overseas and around the world.

We are an entry point in learning about and using the genealogical resources in this area and can provide assistance in research and links to resources in the Lanark County Area.

"Lanark Log" Newsletter Submissions: We are asking members to send in family stories for our newsletter. At-a-distance members could help out others by sharing some of the emigration stories of their family.
